Author, and Applied ML engineer with a passion for art, literature and archaeology

Kristina Young is an Red Ribbon award winning author and machine learning engineer from Bulgaria, Venezuela, and South Africa; currently living in London, UK. She writes poetry and prose (both fiction and non-fiction) often inspired by travel. Her work ranges from modern folkloric tales to dystopian science fiction and travel memoirs.

Her creative writing has been published on AllegoryRidge, Poet’s choice, Lumina Journal and Schlock. She’s also published the fantasy novella In Search of Beira’s Hammer.

The Fifth Indaba is Kristina’s second novella. It was inspired by South African folklore and her involvement with the African Machine Learning community.
